Co-founder, Breathe Inspiration Journal
Mary is co-founder of Breathe Inspiration Journal. She writes regularly for the website across a range of topics and is particularly interested in self-healing through connecting with nature.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Media and a Master of Publishing and Editing. She spent some time as a newspaper journalist in northern New South Wales before moving to Melbourne, where she works in architecture/design magazine publishing.
Growing up in the Byron Bay hinterland left Mary with a love for bare feet and sunshine. She has a soft spot for animals – especially ugly ones – and has been a vegetarian since she was eleven years old. She practices yoga and meditation, and can’t bear to be away from the coast for too long.
Mary hopes that Breathe Inspiration Journal will encourage people to get to know themselves a little better, in just the way that her work on Breathe enables her to explore more of herself. She knows that through self-exploration we can find meaning and purpose, and be inspired to live more mindfully and compassionately.
